National Stadium, Surulere in Lagos State Nigeria is a multi-purpose stadium owned by the Lagos State Government. This stadium is not just regarded as the best in Lagos but also the best in Nigeria generally. According to data gathered from Wikipedia, Lagos National Stadium has a capacity of up to 55,000 people followed by Jos International Stadium with 44,000 capacity.

Teslim Balogun Stadium is another stadium situated alongside Lagos National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos State. This stadium is mostly used for football matches and has served as the home ground for First Bank Nigeria Football Club (First Bank F.C) and also the Nigeria National Rugby League Team.
The Stadium was named after the name of late Nigeria professional footballer – Teslim Balogun. The stadium started operating in 198 under the administration of mimitary governor Gbolahan Mudasiru. Onikan Stadium Lagos is yet another top leading stadium in Lagos State Nigeria. This is a multi-sport stadium located in on the southeastern corner of Lagos Island near Tafawa Balewa Square. The Stadium was first established in the year 1930 and was named after King George V. Between the year 1963 and 1973, It was renovated and renamed to Lagos City stadium. In the year 1980, this stadium was renamed from Lagos City Stadium to Onikan Stadium (till date).
Onikan Stadium Lagos has been the home for some prominent football teams in the country including Ikorodu United F.C, Julius Berger F.C, Stationery Stores F.C and others. The stadium has a seating capacity of 10,000 people.
